The URPP "Human Reproduction Reloaded" is delighted to announce that again a judge from the European Court of Human Rights, Judge María Elósegui, will visit us and give a guest lecture on "Secrets and Rights: Balancing the Right to Know One's Origins with the Birthgivers' Anonymity in the ECtHR Caselaw" on 10 April 2025 at 18.15 - 19.30 (followed by an apéro).
The talk will be hosted by H2R and Prof. Alice Margarias's VWS project "Who is the court for?" and will be part of the course on "Law, Ethics and Reproduction" in the upcoming spring semester. The UZH Alumni Association grant will partly finance the event. More information will follow soon.
