Agnes Kandlbinder, Dr.

Agnes Kandlbinder is an adjunct researcher in the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded H2R, and graduated with her PhD in sub-project 4 CRISPR Technology in Human Reproduction at the University of Zurich.

She currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut des Humanités en Médecine of the University of Lausanne at Vaud University Hospital (CHUV).

Agnes' PhD project focused on a moral philosophical investigation of germline genome editing, with the goal of bridging the gap between basic research in the life sciences and the ethical discourse surrounding this contentious field. Her research interests and expertise include moral philosophy, ethical innovation and technology development, social justice in health care, body autonomy, reproductive and dis/ability justice, queer family building as well as meaning-making and values in the context of reproduction and medical decision-making.
