Dr. Alice Cavolo is an adjunct researcher in the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded │ H2R at the University of Zurich.

Alice is a philosopher specializing in the intersection between reproductive and neonatal ethics. Her current research focuses on the ethical implications of the human trial and future implementation of artificial placentas for extremely premature infants, including implications of potential (mis)uses of artificial placentas beyond their intended scope, for example, the implications of using this technology as an alternative to abortion.
