Clemens Heyder

Clemens Heyder, Dr.

  • Postdoc

Dr. Clemens Heyder is an adjunct researcher in the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded │ H2R  at the University of Zurich.

Clemens’ research interests are primarily in reproductive ethics but also include nursing ethics, research ethics, as well as political philosophy. His dissertation examines ethical problems associated with egg donation. Even if a ban could not be justified in a liberal society, the practice has revealed problems that make a regulation necessary. In this context, the paper identifies a basic framework and highlights general conditions for dealing with egg donation. In addition to his scientific career, he has been teaching ethics in nursing education since 2019.
