Dr. Edmée Ballif is an adjunct researcher in the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded │ H2R  at the University of Zurich.

Edmée is a social scientist specialising in reproduction, parenting, food and gender. She has a special interest in the social construction of « good » reproductive subjects. Her doctoral project looked at pregnancy care while her postdoctoral projects moved to the field of child nutritional advice to understand how social structures are reproduced through reproductive practices. She specialises in qualitative methods and inductive research designs. In 2022-2023, she is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Social Research Institute, University College London with an SNSF Postdoc.Mobility grant.
