Isabel Kolm-Djamei is adjunct researcher of the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded | H2R. Isabel is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist currently working as a senior consultant at the Department of Pathology, Cantonal Hospital Lucerne.

Isabel's focus is on the environmentally-motivated birthstrike movement which encompasses young people, especially women who are reconsidering and resisting reproduction because of the climate crisis and asking the controversial question, “is it still ok to have a child?”. Isabel’ explores the struggle of these women who are “too afraid to have children” and the misinterpretation of their message in the context of antinatalism, epistemic injustice and climate-change denial  and pronatalistic movements.
