Noa Vreven holds a Master of Laws in European Constitutionalism and Fundamental Rights from the University of Antwerp, where she graduated in 2023. During her studies, she participated in the Faculty of Law's Aspiring Researcher Program and completed an Erasmus exchange at the University of Trento in Italy. Her Master’s thesis explored the right to sexual integrity.
Currently, Noa is a PhD researcher and research and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law, University of Antwerp, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elise Goossens and Prof. Dr. Wouter Vandenhole. Her doctoral research investigates the protection of reproductive autonomy within the European legal framework, reflecting her broader academic interests in international and European human rights law, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and feminist legal theory.
Noa also teaches the bachelor-level practical course Gender and European Human Rights Law at the University of Antwerp. Beyond her academic responsibilities, she is engaged in various scholarly networks, including the Academic Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, the Antwerp Gender and Sexuality Studies Network, and the Belgian Network of Junior Researchers in International Law.
