Cooperations

The Center for Life Sciences Law (Zentrum für Life Sciences-Recht, ZLSR) is a center of the Faculty of Law at the University of Basel. The ZLSR commits itself to innovative research on the normative framework of life sciences, covering fields such as biochemistry, bioinformatics, medicine, (molecular) biology and pharmaceutics.

The main purpose of our research is to examine the interrelation between the set of ethical and normative standards and the technological and social transformational processes, such as the digitalization, miniaturization and personalization.

The ZLSR also aims to be a forum for interdisciplinary scientific exchange among scientists, practitioners and experts from various life science industries.
