Titti Mattsson

Prof. Titti Mattsson has been Professor of Public Law at Lund University, Sweden, since 2012. She has extensive experience in interdisciplinary and comparative research, as well as in teaching and supervising undergraduate and graduate students in law, social work, and medical ethics. Her publications include monographs, edited volumes, book chapters, and articles in both international and national journals.

Prof. Mattsson is Director of the Health Law Research Centre at Lund University and of the Law and Vulnerabilities Group. Her research-related activities include serving as Editor of the European Journal of Health Law, Board Member of the Swedish National Institute of Human Rights, National Expert for the Swedish Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Assessment of Social Services, and Vice Chair of the Ethical Board of Region Skåne.

In 2025, she was appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of Lund University as the new holder of the Torsten and Ragnar Söderberg Foundation Professorship in Memory of Samuel Pufendorf for the period 2025–2028. She is the second woman to hold this distinguished chair.
