H2R Summer School 2026

From 31 August to 2 September 2026, the H2R Summer School will bring together the program's researchers from multiple fields at Kartause Ittingen for three days of discussion, exchange, and collaboration.

The Summer School is centred around the research projects of the H2R's PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers. Through presentations and small-group sessions, participants will have the opportunity to share work in progress, receive feedback, and explore connections across disciplines. The aim is not only to discuss individual projects, but also to reflect on how different disciplinary perspectives can contribute to a broader understanding of human reproduction.

To support these conversations, the program includes a keynote by Oliver Kessler (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, HSLU), whose input on successful interdisciplinary research will provide practical perspectives on interdisciplinary collaboration and help frame the discussions throughout the Summer School.

The academic program will be complemented by informal social activities that provide additional opportunities for networking and exchange.
