Reproduction Writing Contest 2025
The URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded is delighted to announce the first edition of the Reproduction Writing Contest! This exciting opportunity invites Swiss-based students across all disciplines to explore a thought-provoking question related to reproduction.
This Year’s Question is:
What do you think human reproduction will look like at the end of the 21st century? Imagine possible scenarios!
Submission Guidelines:
- Eligibility: open to all students in any discipline enrolled at a Swiss university
- Essay Length: max. 2,000 words (including footnotes/references).
- Languages Accepted: English, German, French, or Italian
- Deadline:15 June 2025, 23:59 CET via email at lst.margaria@ius.uzh.ch.
- Declaration of Originality: alongside your submission, please complete and return the declaration (attached now but will be hyperlinked). Submissions made without the Declaration will not be considered.

Prize:
The author of the best essay will receive a 500 CHF prize. The prize will be officially awarded on the occasion of the Second Annual Lecture on Reproduction at the University of Zurich in fall 2025.
