Electra Zacharias is a PhD candidate in the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded | H2R, sub-project 1 Normativity of Human Reproduction at the University of Zurich.

Electra's research interests lie in the fields of family law, human rights law, private international law, queer approaches and anthropology and law. Her research at UZH primarily centers around cross-border recognition of queer parenthood and the analysis of the role that different state agents, in particular civil registry officers, play in the legal recognition across jurisdictions.
