URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded | H2R

New member of the URPP H2R

Welcome Dr. Anna Mann, who joined the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded | H2R as an Adjunct Researcher. Anna is a social scientist who uses qualitative methods to investigate socio-material constructions, negotiations, and enactments of “good medical care”. Currently, she is leading the SNF-Ambizione-Project “(Im-)possibilities of letting life end.” The project investigates how, in the clinical practices of paediatrics and geriatrics, non-life prolonging treatment and care are made possible. Previously, she was employed as a PostDoc researcher in the ERC-Project “The Vitality of Disease - Quality of Life in the Making”, where she studied how patients with chronic kidney disease and their clinicians sought to ‘improve patients’ quality of life’.
